Counter mode: take a phone order in under a minute

Not every customer draws. Some call. Counter mode is the back-office screen where whoever picks up the phone keys in the part and reads the price back while the customer is still on the line.

The screen asks for exactly what the price needs: material, finish or RAL, thickness, developed length, length and quantity, plus the number of bends. No drawing and no hole positions: those are requested before manufacturing, not for the price.

The price is the engine's, the same one the online configurator uses. A part quoted at the counter and the same part drawn by the customer come out at the same figure, so nobody has to explain a difference afterwards.

Each call becomes an order. The parts of the call add up in the summary, shipping is left to be confirmed by the shop, the customer's usual discount can be applied, and the order is saved or a quote prepared in one click.

The customer can be attached later. A first-time caller does not block the entry: the part is priced first, the B2B record is searched or created afterwards.

What it changes

One price engine

Counter and online configurator share the same rules, so the figure is the same whoever enters it.

Nothing to draw

Six fields and a bend count are enough for a price; geometry is asked later, when production needs it.

The call ends with an order

Parts, discount, shipping and quote are handled on one screen, while the customer is on the phone.

Your rules, your prices, your screens

Installation means loading your catalogue and your constraints. The engine does not change: what it knows about your workshop is what makes the quote right.
